Herbs with Aperient Properties

Agar-Agar, Asparagus, Boneset, Borage*, Burdock*, Calendula, Cucumber, Dandelion, Dyer's Broom*, Elder*, Fig, Flax Seed*, Fringe Tree, Licorice Root, Olive Oil, Plum, Prunes, Raisins, Restharrow, Rose, Rose Hips, Senna, Turtlebloom, Witch Grass.

 Borage - Borago officinalis - CAUTION: Dermatitis may be caused by contact with the fresh leaves of Borage in sensitive individuals. Prolonged use is not advised.

 Burdock- (See Alteratives)

 Dyer's Broom - Genista tinctora - CAUTION: This herb will raise blood pressure by constricting the blood vessels, thus useage by individuals with high blood pressure is not advisable.
