Herbs with Antiasthmatic Properties

Agrimony, Angelica*, Ephedra*(Mormon Tea), Hyssop, Lungwort, Mullein, Myrrh, Prickly Ash Bark, Skunk Cabbage*.

 Angelica - Angelica sylvestris - CAUTION: Wild Angelica is very easily confused with European Water Hemlock, which is poisonous. Care should be taken if gathering this herb in the wild.

 Ephedra - Ephedra sinica - CAUTION: This herb, also known as Mormon Tea, or the Chinese equivalent, Ma Huang, should not be used if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, or thyroid disease unless under medical supervision. Do not exceed recommended dosage. If you are pregnant or nursing, check with your doctor before using.

 Skunk Cabbage - Symplocarpus foetidus - CAUTION: The fresh plant also has acrid qualities.
